Binondo China Town, Manila

Everyone knows they’re going to die, but nobody believes it. If we did, we would do things differently.

I’ve been thinking about death a lot recently. Last month, while I was happily trying to fit myself into a skinny dark wash jeggings, I received a phone call from my mum that said my great grandma passed away. It is not unexpected, given that my great grandma was 99 years old and her health had literally gone down hill for the past 8 years. I knew it was coming. Despite the expectation, when it hits, it is still a terrible feeling. What make it worse is, on the same morning, I booked a trip to visit her, end up attending her funeral. I’m glad that I made my last goodbye count.
